Job Interview Makeup

We've all had that moment (well most of us at least) where we have an important job interview or meeting and all of a sudden nothing we own looks professional, our hair is a mess and we have no idea how to do our makeup.  Been there.  So, the other day I had a meeting with an important client and the night before as I was planning out my outfit I decided I'd make a video showing how I do my makeup for occasions like these.

It's easy to think, 'ok, less makeup is more in this situations'.  While this isn't necessarily wrong, it's not necessarily true either.  If you're smart about how you apply your makeup you can play up your features, make yourself look more polished and professional and actually look better than wearing little to no makeup at all.

Check out my video below for some of my tips, hopefully you'll find them useful next time you're in a similar situation!

Natural/Earthy Makeup Look

So I did a look using some Mac Pressed Pigments and some of their Pro longwear eye shadows.  I tried to keep the look very natural and earthy so that it's good to wear to the office, or the park or just anywhere you want something very simple.  I used my new Tarte lipstick which was super cool, it changed colors to match the natural tone of my lips.  Very cool!  So check out my video and let me know what you think!!

Makeup For Teens

Starting out with makeup can be intimidating.  I remember not knowing really what to do and making manyyyy, manyyyy mistakes along the way.  There was the way too much eyeliner, not applying in my crease, wearing too much, wearing too little; you name it.

So, I made the below video to help out teens just starting to wear makeup.  I think the key to makeup that's often overlooked by the young is that less is more.  That's not an easy lesson to learn because it seems counter-intuitive but I swear, the less you wear the more your natural beauty shines.  (That's so cheesy...sorry lol)

So please check out my video and see my tips and tricks for teens!
